Breeding

Text Box: All puppies that we breed are endorsed with the Kennel Club, in accordance with its Regulations, restricting the registering of its progeny and the issue of an export pedigree. This means that you will not be able to register any puppies from a dog bred by us, or to send it abroad without first referring back to us. This is done for the good of the breed, to ensure that our line, which has taken over 20 years to build up, continues to breed healthy stock and to protect the dogs that we have bred. Our puppies are endorsed not for breeding as we do not wish for any stock that we have bred to be used in a breeding programme unless they have been tested under the relevant health schemes. We will only consider removing the breeding restriction provided the dog has been examined under these schemes, and the results are acceptable and approved by us. Our puppies are endorsed not eligible for the issue of an export pedigree as we do not wish them to be sent abroad to either an unsuitable country or a third person without our consent. Unless the owner of the dog is moving abroad and taking the dog with them, it is unlikely that the breeders would consider removing the export endorsement. Text Box: Litters are seldom bred at Cremino as we only breed when we want to keep a puppy ourselves , either for the show-ring or to maintain our lines. All our breeding stock is tested under the Kennel Club / British Veterinary Association official health schemes for hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia and hereditary eye diseases to try and ensure that all stock, whether they be show dogs or pets, are healthy—however in nature it is not possible to guarantee this. Our breeding stock is also DNA tested for GPRA and now CNM. All health results are posted on each dog's webpage. We are Kennel Club Accredited Breeders and adhere to all aspects of their guide to best breeding practice.
